I offer face-to-face counselling sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67 3TU) and on Wednesdays in Quorn, Leicestershire (LE12 8UE). Both offices are easily accessible from Leicester, Loughborough, Shepshed, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Castle Donnington, Derby and Nottingham. There are convenient transport links and free, easily accessible parking.
I also offer telephone or online counselling depending on which type would work best for you.
I am fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese) and I speak conversational Mandarin.
I would recommend sessions to be once a week, at the same time and on the same day but less regular sessions can be arranged, if that’s your preference.
We can work together for as long as you feel you need, on a long term or short term basis.
I practice the Person-Centred Approach and you can find out more about the person-centred approach here. I aim to provide a non-judgemental, safe and confidential space where you will be welcome as you are with whatever you may bring to therapy. I will follow your lead in the session and explore together with you at a pace that is comfortable for you. Together we can look at where you’ve been, where you are in the here and now, and where you hope to move forwards to.
During the first session, we will discuss the therapy agreement and I will explain a bit more about the way I work, such as confidentiality. I will also spend some time asking you a few questions to understand why you have decided to have counselling to see if we would be a good fit together. You may also ask me any questions you may have about the process too.
The duration of a session is 50 minutes.
I offer an introductory session for £45 with subsequent sessions for £55. I also offer sessions at a reduced cost of £50 to students who book as part of their training as a counsellor or psychotherapist.
Payment is accepted via bank transfer in advance of each session.
I work with people aged 18 and over.
I am an accredited and registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (registered number NCS21-02813).
